Alongside you, someone’s crocheting their first piece and it’s a tad crooked. Another is re-potting a plant off-camera. And, a few of us probably haven’t decided yet and are just showing up for ourselves and figuring it out as we go.

Bring the crochet hook and yarn you barely made into a swatch. The colored-pencil set from 2014 that’s missing the blue. The recipe that’s failed three times, the draft you stopped mid-sentence, the hobby you were pretty bad at and quit before anyone noticed. Nothing to buy to belong here except the membership itself.
Not a class, a mastermind, a critique group, or a skill-building anything. Nobody teaches, nobody grades, nobody asks what you’re working toward. The right supplies are the ones already in your house.
